PRINT REGISTRATION FORM

	Continental Knit Along & Purl Along Do you want to speed up your knitting?  Are you left- handed?  Does knitting cause strain in your right arm?  Maybe it’s time for a change!  Try using the other hand! Try continental knitting  (and Purling).  We will explore the ins and outs of the continental knit and Purl stitches both traditional and modified. We will focus on the position of the hands, and explore a variety of ways of holding the yarn for comfort, even gauge and ease of knitting.
Materials: Choose light coloured classic yarn  and appropriate needles for a scarf and hat.  Teacher: Julia Dinner first learned to knit  British Style and converted to continental  in her early teens	Plan to commit to small project in the technique. It will feel strange at first and will require time to build up comfort and muscle memory. Who knows… with a bit of practice you might become the fastest knitter you know!!

Student Discount 10% student discount applies on all regular price yarn purchases for the duration of the class. Student Shopping Hours The shop will be open from 7 to 9  Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday & Thursday Evenings for registered class members only. Please call ahead. Allowing for individual preferences, class fees do not include cost of materials. All yarns for class projects must be purchased in our shop.
