Patterns rarely specify
the cast-on technique and yet almost
always there are reasons
to use one technique over another.
Skill with a variety
of cast-on techniques permit us to recognize which one would be best and
improves the quality of our knitting and our pride and satisfaction in
our work. Since circumstances
give us onlya few minutes
of cast-on time in each project, we
need to take some dedicated
time to practice.
Come practice a cast-on
and stay for some social knitting with SockTalk. |

Prices
quoted are in Canadian dollars. American
visitors benefit from the position of the Canadian dollar and lower Canadian
costs on European yarns. Federal and provincial taxes do not apply to goods
shipped outside of Canada.
