Here is one of the original "fake furs"--and in my opinion, the best. It is incredibly soft and silky, with a dense, draped hand when knit. Although it is nylon (which takes our hand dyed colors beautifully), it does not have a "synthetic" feel to it. While Fern can certainly be knit into outrageous fake fur garments all on its own, we like it best when used sparingly--either a few scattered rows to add lush texture or as borders & trims. While fake furs may come and go, Fern is one for the ages.
