Lotus

Lotus:  58% wool, 27% bamboo, 15% silk      2 oz/105 yds    suggested gauge 16 st = 4" # 8, 18 st=4" # 9

Lotus is a beautiful plied blend enhanced by the double dye process: first the wool/silk plies are dyed and the bamboo stays white, then the skeins are turned and the bamboo is dyed. The silk fibers take a little of each type of dye, adding yet another layer of intriguing color. The knit fabric is slighly tweedy with a lovely firm yet soft hand. Another great luxury yarn, without the huge luxury price. Lotus is now available in all of the sandwashed solid colors, as well. Both Vogue and Knit1 magazines used solid Lotus in recent models. Luscious!
