SP2A Diagonal Scarf and Hat

A generous scarf and clever hat team up as a dramatic duo. Diamonds of Woodland Stuff defined by Mocha Andee create the hat; Andee then alternates with Stuff  to stretch into a very large diagonal scarf. Fringe of Woodlands Galaxy finishes the look.

"Stuff" yarns--30-40 individually hand dyed, colour and gauge coordinated yarns that are tied together end to end by hand. When knit, the yarns change from one to another in varying lengths.

Galaxy is a very wide nylon ribbon with intermittent patches of gold or silver metallic. The yarn can be knit densely or very loosely. It also makes spectacular fringe. The knitted fabric is silky and yet has body, and the metallic is very noticeable (and fabulous). It is available in all of hand dyed colors.

Andee is a lovely, classic plied twist of intimately blended alpaca and wool. The wool provides memory and bounce, and the alpaca lends a beautiful sheen. The knitted fabric combines the best of both worlds: a firm hand that shows colour work and stitch definition well, but has a silky softness from the alpaca. Andee is avaialble in all hand dyed colors.
